How do I get to Amsterdam Bed and Breakfast at Boogaard's from the airport?

To get to Boogaard's Bed and Breakfast from the airport it is best to take a taxi. The ride cost around €30.00 for the 15 minute ride. If you like to take the train it costs around 3.60 euro for a round trip ticket from Schiphol. It's a ten minute ride and when you get to Central Station walk out to the front of the building. Turn right and walk past the taxi stand and the Ibis Hotel. Once you pass the hotel cross over the bridge and follow the path under the next bridge. When you come up from the under pass walk to the far right , you will be crossing over the Singel and turn left and follow the Singel to the next bridge and cross over the Brouwersgracht. Once you have crossed over the Brouwergracht turn right and follow the Brouwersgracht until you reach the first street on the left which will be De Langestraat. Walk down the street a short way and we are number 34 on the right. Ring the bell labeled Boogaard’s.

A strip card is a pass for the public transportation system for all of Holland. The cost is about 7 Euros and is about 25% cheaper the buying single trip tickets. The way to use it on a tram is to find one of the little yellow boxes on the tram, fold the card back so you will stamp either two lines for one zone or three lines for two zones etc. All of the center of Amsterdam is one zone, this entitles you to ride the trams, metro, and buses for one hour, either, any or all switching from one to the other is allowed on the same pass, just show the stamped ticket to the conductor as you enter the vehicle.
