Why is a credit card confirmation and 25% deposit required? And what is the cancellation policy? What is the fee?

Almost all accommodations require that some credit card guarantee be made. This is also required at Boogaard's B&B. All bookings require a 25% deposit which is non refundable; if you decide to cancel four business days or less prior to your arrival date and/or a no show will result in the balance of your stay to be charged to your credit card.

To keep our prices as low as possible we have not included the credit card cost in the room price.
Therefore if you decided to pay with a credit card we will charge you an extra 5%.
